WATER SHORTAGE HITS AWUTU BONTRASE HEALTH CENTER , RENDERED NURSES TO BATH ONCE EVERY TWO DAYS.

The Awutu Bontrase health center is seriously going through  a challenge of water shortage for the past years  to the extent that, nurses take their bath once every two days.

According to the senior Nurse incharge  of the health center , madam  Nora Blankson  even water they will use for sterilizing their equipments, wash the clinic bedsheets , bath newly born babies and patients it's a big problem .

Opanyin Darko in an interview with  the Mmrante-hene of Awutu Bontrase, Nana Kwame Larbi disclosed that, the community has a population of about 5,600 people but access to portable water has been a major challenge over 25 years now but the most important area is the health center.

All efforts made during the regime of the past governments proved futile, he bemoaned.

The Senior Nurse in charge of the health center, Madam Nora Blankson and the Mmrante-hene of the community are appealing to the Government, the member of parliament for Awutu Senya West who double as the Deputy minister of communication, Hon. George Andah and the newly appointed DCE at the area Hon. Stephen Kwame Quaye to put pragmatic measures in place to fix the water problems in Wutu Bontrase.
