For the past days, social media has been buzzling with the hottest musical beef between Shatta Wale and Yaa Pono.

According to Shatta, Yaa Pono only wanted hype thus the attack on him. As it stands now, things have been messy as both artistes have recorded diss tracks.

One thing Shatta Wale said that i have checked thoroughly and realised it’s impact on Yaa Pono’s career is an increase in his fan base on social media.

This beef has really increased Yaa Pono’s following on social media especially on Facebook by more than 150% within 3 days. On the night before he went live on Facebook for the first time, he had 13,592 page likes and 3 days after, his total page likes have increased to more than 30,000.

Checking his posts engagements, that has also increased massively since the following has doubled. The highest number of likes he had on posts before this beef started was 1,500 but these days, the least is 3,000.

One thing Yaa Pono and his management should start doing is to work on business strategies to boost his career to the peak.

JUPITA - I HAVE NO BEEF WITH ‘DANCEHALL KING’ SHATTAWALE

Ghanaian dancehall artist, Jupitar has debunked rumors circulating on social media that he has a beef with controversial dancehall king, Shatta Wale.
He revealed that Shatta Wale is a veteran in the music industry and there was no reason for him to disrespect Wale since he started the dancehall music before him.

The CEO of Slip Music, Mark Okraku Mantey had picked his favourite Dancehall act in a radio interview and disclosed Shatta Wale claiming the Dancehall King title wasn’t right hence for the past two years he hasn’t adapted to strictly dancehall music, unlike Jupitar.

“Surprisingly, Shatta Wale calls himself a Dancehall king but scan through his songs for the past two years, the young man is not doing Dancehall. So it becomes difficult to mention who the best Dancehall act is. I think I like Jupitar…”

“Stonebwoy is not even doing hardcore Dancehall. He is doing Reggae. For me, it’s Jupitar. He has been consistent since day one.” The CEO said.
Mr Okraku Mantey’s statement caused a lot of controversies which generated a lot of debate in the media.

But Jupitar defended Shatta noting that he might have responded to Mak in anger.
“I will call Shata Wale a veteran in this game. He went for a decade and he came back big time. I think he is a great man.

I give him all the due respect. I think what Shatta said I think was out of anger. I call him Dada because he started before I did. He wasn’t meaning anything negative. We are cool…” he said.

In recent times, SAMINI gave his best in his FIRST DISS TRACK to wale ” GBEE BI”

There is no second chance in BEEF SONGS especially when you promise much and deliver little in your FIRST ATTEMPT…

This should be a lesson to potential beef makers. PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD in your first attempt, because there may not be a second chance.
Everybody were expecting Yaa Pono to have come out with a diss song with the term “Say fi” since he was the one who first dared Shatta Wale to say fi only to release a song titled “Noko” which many classified as wackest diss track they list expected from Yaa Pono.

Entertainment News: I will stop insulting industry players when they stop making me a Monster.

He gets furious and never mince words when anyone makes a statement he deems insulting to his brand, a posture he concludes many interpret it as an act of disrespect.

More often than not, his rebuttals are full of vulgar words but Shatta Wale has said he does so for a purpose and would stop on one condition.
If nothing touches the palm tree, it doesn’t rattle! He would stop insulting industry players when they stop making him a monster.

“That is what they’ve turned me into. People have envied me for no reason. [They envy me] because I speak the truth and I always stand by the truth. I believe the truth is of God and God is the truth. I always have my Bible in my studio. I read and thank God.

That is what I am impacting in the youth in Ghana. [They shouldn’t] fear no faces. Talk and talk positively. But when it gets rough, let the going get tough. I don’t really have a problem with industry people but when I hear certain statements especially from people who see everything wrong in whatever I do…” he said in an interview with Vibez in 5.

The dancehall artiste also reacted to Mark Okraku-Mantey’s statement that he is not a dancehall artiste saying, the Slip Music boss is not qualified to make that assertion.

“The VGMA board [which he is a member] says they don’t want me to be part of the scheme so I don’t expect any member to talk about my music. Why talk about my music and how I should do it when you don’t want to put me on your music award. Why sit on radio and try to tell people what I should do. That, I will vex,” he said.

“You’ve never been to Jamaica, you’ve not produced any dancehall artiste before. He says Jupitar is the best dancehall artiste but Okraku-Mantey can’t sing any of Jupitar’s songs. He is not the type to talk about dancehall because he’s not been to where I have been. He should talk about highlife,” Shatta Wale added.

Details about the alleged accident has not been made known to the general public but there are images circulating on social media with a radio personality known as Ayisha Modi of Sankofa Radio being the first to break the news.
